'14 JUCO DT Davonte Lambert (Auburn Commit 12/18/13)

I never like it when the coach from another school visits one of our committed players, in his home.

I don't like it either. He is giving them some reason to come back in home again. I was in hopes he would decline their wishes for another visit. Still think he is a vol but slightly less confident

Still think he will end up a Vol, but man this sure is a nail biter. Auburn is making this interesting. That being said, Butch will get this done.

Butch can visit him whenever Lambert agrees to see him because Lambert did sign a financial aid agreement with UT.

Somebody stated last week that Butch was saving his last visit for late this week...has it been confirmed that he signed a financial aid agreement?

If he's letting Auburn in his home then he's definitely not as solid as he says he is. There is no reason to have them come in if he has no doubt about where he's going.

This from AU Rivals leads me to believe that Malzahn is making last effort with Lambert, but is not at all certain of the success and has backup plan -

Official visitors expected Dec. 13-15 in addition to ... First Coast (Fla.) defensive end Spencer Williams are scheduled to visit this weekend... and Williams has visited numerous times with teammate Raashed Kennion...neither are "takes" at this point, but prospects to keep an eye on. The Auburn staff is high on Williams.

Yeah. I also think they will push to get the papers signed so they get more time

Part of me feels that once the Auburn coaches leave his home and Lambert still feels the same way about UT and sticks to his commitment, then he proves his loyalty to UT. But then I go back to what Montrell said a few posts up.

Dec. 18th can't get here fast enough. Still confident that Lambert will be a Vol in the end but this will take a great closing the deal job from Butch and Co.

I got hammered by the masses for the same opinion earlier in the week.

Lambert needs to look in the mirror when he gets angry at questions about him flipping occur
