Reed may not be the only visitor from East Mississippi Community College this weekend as teammate D.J. Pettway may be in Knoxville as well for a visit.

The 6-foot-3, 255-pound defensive end and Alabama transfer was at Ole Miss last weekend for his first official visit.

Both Reed and Pettway are scheduled to be early enrollees.

He was. Just need to make sure if you see him on campus during the visit to not turn your back on him. He may hit you with a "Jeremy Hill" type cheap shot and then try and steal your MacBook and your wallet.

I actually go to alabama, I know why? Cause they gave me more money. But I had a class with this guy and he seemed like a good guy, I couldn't believe it had happened when it did

People are quick to judge a kid. Until he picks Tn then I will read how he deserves a 2nd chance.

The two counts of second-degree robbery he was charged with were made pretty public. It's not hard to base my feelings/opinions on something that anyone can read at anytime as all the info is public.

Of course people can change.

CBJ claims to be looking for high character kids. Kids who do the right things. Kids who win on and off the field. If multiple robbery charges can get you a scholarship to Tennessee, not sure it falls in line with what the coaches preach. JMO

Ok I respect your opinion. He may not be a take, may be. If CBJ has done that so far, what makes you think he didn't do his research before pursuing DJ? Like you said, it would be pretty ridiculous to to offer a kid with bad character after stating you only want good character. And with so much JUCO DT talent high on us, surely he wouldn't be pursuing this kid with bad character when high character kids want on.... unless, maybe this kid isn't such a bad kid because he did his research before offering.
