I'm not referring to NFL. Otherwise the Tebow discussion would take off. The Ponder years at FSU were vastly inferior talent wise to Florida and you had a top 3 coach.
With your current coach they are 2-1 against you and the coaching and talent gap are not going in your favor.
I am discussing the future and you throw out the past. My points are as follows:
They have no problem recruiting QB's and have a much better track record than Florida.
They are widening the gap in reference to players and coaching.
They will dominate you unless your administration makes a competent hire to replace Muschamp.
You disagree?
disagree. vastly inferior? They avg a top 8 class during Meyer yrs. Take a look at FSU NFL guys that played during that time. Meyer last yr and WM first UF had 5 guys drafted or make rosters. Those yrs were about coachig not better/lack of talent. Jimbo is 2-1 but in '12 Fsu had more talent at skill positions, 1st round QB, depth and home field but a healthy UF still worked them. Hell even this yr with no playmakers no depth a 4th spring QB Uf made it a game for a half. That gap you speak of has taken hits bc of key guys moving on. We'll see what happens.
