Friendship Collegiate High (Washington, D.C.) cornerback Demitri Lee doesn’t have any offers yet, but he was impressive at the combine could be close to getting one. He is talking mostly with Vanderbilt, Tennessee and South Carolina.

Impressive film. Kid plays like he is a 225lb headhunter. Explosive at the point of attack and has good speed. Plays with an attitude and IMO, we need a little more of that on this team(on the field).

Dream offer? Sign him up.

3. Dimitri Lee, Friendship Collegiate High, Washington, D.C.
Skinny: It is scary to think what Friendship Collegiate’s secondary will look like in 2014 since he may be the third best cornerback on the team beyond Tabor and Tennessee commit D’Andre Payne. Lee was physical and played tight at the line of scrimmage. He was also able to stay hip-to-hip with receivers and change direction at a high rate of speed. His day was complete with several nice pass break-ups as he showed his ability to track passes as well.

I don't know, Gaulden, Green, Smith, Payne. Room might be tight.
May be dream offer to play with his bud or something

“The recruiting process has been moving slow, but Tennessee has been through here several times to talk with me,” Lee told InsideTennessee. “Coach (Tommy Thigpen) was just up here and offered one of my teammates and told me they were keeping a close eye on me. He told me they really liked me and to keep doing what I’m doing.”

“I will be doing a big camp circuit this summer,” he said. “I am going to be going to Vanderbilt, Tennessee, Boston College and some others. I will be going with some of the other guys from Friendship like D’Andre and Jalen.

“Right now I am trying to improve on my speed and get quicker. I am suppose to go to a few Nike camps this summer too and I am hoping that will help, but right now the best part about my game is my man coverage. I feel like I can lock a guy down in bump-and-run coverage.”

“I think the best thing about Tennessee is just the tradition,” he said. “They struggled last year, but they have a strong tradition of great defense at Tennessee. That and everyone there has a chance to earn playing time. They have the best facilities there too and I like the coaching staff.”

“The three things that are really important to me are education, playing time and a place that feels like home,” Lee said. “I want to make sure that the education sets me up for life after football. You can’t go anywhere without a good education. I don’t have to play right away, but I want a chance to compete and most of all I want to make sure where I choose feels like home.”

“I don’t just play one position,” he said. “I can play corner, nickel, safety or anywhere else. I think that is what separates me from a lot of other players, I can do anything you want me to do.”

I thought that he had an offer. What's the level of interest in this guy?
