You think all the NJ guys going to Rutgers was a Schiano thing or a Rutgers thing?

I think a NJ thing. The home state school and gets a lot of TV coverage in the area. And its not like there are alot of powerhouse football programs in the NE, especially near them. So probably really easy to get them to stay home and very few ever seem to venture south. JMO

Besides, he knows Kesling would butcher his name.

I lived in NJ for 5 years in the mid ninties. No one cared about Rutgers FB and now that Schiano is gone no one will care again. During my time there most of the top NJ talent went to Penn St.

This is so true. Rutgers recent surge was all Coach Schiano. Not many people outside New Brunswick will care about RU now that he is gone. Someone was also talking about TV coverage. We don't get every Rutgers game here in South Jersey so some of this Jersey talent are not having home school pressure put on them at all. Usually the good ones go to Penn State or WVU.

Led Bosco last year in sacks. Darius Hamilton was on that team. Palermo is recruiting him for UT.
