Just named UA his leader and is from AL originally.

Yes, Alabama has offered me," said Allen. "And they are my number one choice."

"My father was born in Ohio, so he's been an Ohio State fan. I was born in Alabama and have pulled for the Crimson Tide since I was young. When Coach Smart told me that I had the offer, I was really excited."

"After Alabama, I like Penn State, Michigan, N.C. State, Oklahoma, Florida, and I'm still open to Virginia and Virginia Tech. Those are my top schools right now."

Go figure. Alabama's everybody's leader. Good thing they can't take 70 like ol' Bear Bryant days. That dude was terrible at over recruiting, which is one reason they won so much. Kept other teams from getting any of the good players.

BAMA thinks every prospect that takes a leak near Tuscaloosa is a BAMA lean .... stupid

I posted a direct quote from Allen, not my opinion. To be honest I had never heard of him on our boards until I read that article.

You seem a little upset, maybe you should go ask the recruit himself why he named UA his leader.:)

BAMA cant take that many linebackers in this class. Why all the angst? Toney, Jones, Allen, Levenberry, etc. Cant take them all. Dont care if BAMA thinks they lead for them all. Cant take em all

As I have stated many times Toney is not a take for UA at this point.Atleast according to all our sites. I also have not seen him name UA his leader. Levenberry just named Michigan his leader, not UA. Jones is a legacy who will get offered a grayshirt probably and not even sure that he does not sign elsewhere. Everything out there is his offer may be conditional. Allen like I said, we just heard about. Out of all the ones you just mentioned only one named UA his leader.

Levenberyy is the only one in that group that is a top target for UA. Any school that did not make him one needs to fire their recruiters because he is that good. Another top target for UA is J Smith at LB. I doubt that UA takes more than 3 LBs in this class and maybe only 2. We already have Foster.

By the way, TideWarrior, please don't construe my previous post above as an attack upon you and what you bring to this board. I appreciate your input. I'm just getting a little tired though of Alabama. I've had about all I can take of them for another decade or so. Unfortunately for me that irritation is only going to be made worse over the next few years I'd imagine. Unless, of course, we kick Bammer butt up here in Knoxville this season! That will alleviate just enough agitation to make up for what looks to be at least another 3 to 4 years of title runs, barring immediate Saban departure or NCAA intervention. We can only hope, right? :)

Being from Alabama helped, but he also said the relationship he had built L Thompson over the last year really made him feel comfortable. This past visit was his first to UA.

not shocked at all..just wonderig why it took him so long. Ev after he visited UF and named us in the Top 2 none of the Gator writer would even put him on a "hot list" lol

Probably because this past weekend was his first ever visit to UA and his came with him. I doubt they were going to let him commit to a school he or they had not visited.
