Jesus. I've said it before. I think parents are feeding their children horse steroids beginning at a very young age.

Rumor has circled that Oklahoma and NC State stand out, is that fair?

"That's fair to say," he said. "I've talked to NC State and I'm really liking the direction their program is going. I have a good relationship with the staff. I've talked to some former Oklahoma alumni and like what they have to offer too."

Good athlete, also being recruited as a Defensive End, depending on the defense. Plays at Stone Bridge, one of VA's best big-time football programs in Ashburn, in Northern VA. Teammates with elite QB Ryan Burns (Ryan Burns - Yahoo! Sports)
Allen has a great relationship with NC State O-Coordinator Dana Bible, which explains why they lead at this point. Haven't heard a lot about Allen and Oklahoma until now, but right now the NC State is leading the pack (pun intended) and a bunch of other schools, including Virginia and Virginia Tech, are in contention. Hadn't heard Tennessee mentioned with him until this point, but everyone will be trying to get him so it doesnt suprise me or anything. As far as visits are concerned, all I know is that he will visit Virginia with teammate Ryan Burns this weekend (the 18th).

CentralVirginia, since you mention him, have you heard anything regarding UT and Ryan Burns, or is Hackenberg our VA guy?

I don't think UT has offered Burns yet, but I wouldn't be suprised if they did. They might wanna see him throw at some camps or something first just because he comes from a single-wing type offense that doesn't play up his ability very much.
As for Hackenberg, nothing really new to report. He and Burns both visited Penn State this weekend, and Burns will visit UVA this weekend for a junior day. UT is positioned well for Hackenberg at this point, along with a bunch of other schools. From his interviews it sounds like he wants to go see some schools before he decides on any place, so I bet he doesn't commit for a few months, maybe not until early summer or so.

In your opinion, which of the two would be better for UT. Is Burns that much better than hackenberg or vice versa?

I like them both. I'd say Hackenberg is more polished for now just because of the system he comes from, wheras Burns comes from a run heavy single-wing type system. Burns' ceiling is extremely high, however, and that accounts for why he is ranked as a top 50 player in 2013 on Rivals. I know both of them are already 2013 All-American selections (Hackenberg to Under Armour and Burns to the Army game) as well. But as mentioned above, until Tennessee makes a move with Burns, Hackenberg is their guy for now.

Just named UA his leader and is from AL originally.

Yes, Alabama has offered me," said Allen. "And they are my number one choice."

"My father was born in Ohio, so he's been an Ohio State fan. I was born in Alabama and have pulled for the Crimson Tide since I was young. When Coach Smart told me that I had the offer, I was really excited."

"After Alabama, I like Penn State, Michigan, N.C. State, Oklahoma, Florida, and I'm still open to Virginia and Virginia Tech. Those are my top schools right now."

One day the whole world will play for Alabama Crimson Tide football. At which point it will no longer be necessary to have a season and Alabama will automatically be declared national champion every year. This should be useful because it will aid them in achieving their ultimate goal of 567 national championships.

BAMA cant take that many linebackers in this class. Why all the angst? Toney, Jones, Allen, Levenberry, etc. Cant take them all. Dont care if BAMA thinks they lead for them all. Cant take em all
