wow. That sucks. Was still a good choice to look around because I don't see Rick Barnes letting a kid play both ways. Pretty sure there was another recruit that wanted too and Barnes shut that down pretty quick. Please post an update on his injury. Hate to see this...

Not that I don't love "the Butch", but Kevin Sumlin is a fantastic coach. He could have been a Vol. I would love to have their recruiting class right now. I have confidence in Butch to make things happen. He has made more of an effort in important impact players for Tennessee, than Dools ever did.

aTm made the best move ever when they joined the SEC. Especially at a time that Brown is headed the wrong direction with his team. aTm has Texas to recruit from and Sumlin could end up like Meyer controling the whole state with who he wants.

Agree. Told my friends that when aTm joined they could be a force given they can stay in state, offer kids the chance to play in the SEC and pull in top recruiting classes year after year. Throw in Johnny Football, Sumlin's ability and Mack Brown's failure and we've got a growing power.

At the beginning of last year, Jones was rated higher than Sumlin by Sporting News. Both had very good years.
