Seems very athletic. Wonder why no big offers? My wife and I just moved to Lenoir City and I plan on watching Camion a game or two. I'll keep an eye out for this guy as well.

If he were from a larger more traditional market I am sure he would have several offers

Ehhh. Not so sure about that. Patrick is from the same place and he has offers from Tennessee, Bama and Arkansas.

I think they'll probably go after a Juco TE now along with Mack Weaver as their target on the HS level.

No offense to this kid, but Patrick is the exception. I don't think there have been many if any from Lenoir City that have had such offers. Cam is a physical phenom he would get those offers if he lined up for Bucksnort. That withstanding, I am sure more offers are definitely on the way for this kid but I am not surprised that he has the one and only offer from MTSU as it is still quite early for a recruit not named Cam Patrick in LC

If you live in bucksnort you go to Hickman Co. And as far back as I remember I don't think we have had any D-I guys. D.J Key for Chat is as big as its gotten haha

Haha, yes Bucksnort isn't fertile breeding ground for blue chippers but it does have a porn shop, and I think that is pretty much it.

I'd be shocked if given the numbers situation we sign more than 1 TE. Obviously the Clear situation is in flux and if you operate under the worst case scenario for him than in 2013 we have Downs and Meredith and that's it.

TE board looks like this, IMO, and I think we have a great shot at landing one of these guys:

Weaver
AJ Jackson
Lucas Wilson

IMO we sign one of these guys, or maybe two if they think Weaver can play DL and can get Jackson.

Swain was saying that he did really, really, really well at camp in Nashville. He said he used his body very well and caught everything that came his way. He said iirc, that they do not use the TE in passing game, and that is why he is having to go to camps to show his ability. He said word from that camp has been traveling fast and more offers would be coming.

Disagree. If Clear is gone they have no choice but to sign 2. And at least one of them needs to be able to play right away. This offense should never have less than 4 TE on roster.

Hahaha, I passed Bucksnort for four years going back and forth to Rhodes...sometimes I stopped off for gas. Porn shop and a gas station with good camo coozies. That's all I can give it.

Lucas came to my camp in Atlanta and put on a show. He won a Receiver Award along with a kid from Sevier Co named Logan McCarter and Mustafa Anthony from Alcoa all seemed to be quality student athletes.

He has good hands, good size, and from what I saw he was pretty physical. I don't think he is fast enough to be a down field threat at TE in the SEC, but I think he would make a good blocking TE / H back.

On another note, I think this kid is the best player on LC's team. In my opinion they didn't throw him the ball nearly enough.

Jayson Swain has raved about him. Heaven help us if we offer and he commits. I don't know if this board could take another E. TN commit.

This kid is coming to camp and would committ on the spot if offered IMO. So if that happens would TN take Weaver, Wilson and Hamilton, and just let Weaver play DE and have Wilson and Hamilton be our TEs.

-The surprise of the tournament was Lenoir City (Tenn.) High tight end Lucas Hamilton for the D-Block #7 team out of Knoxville. Holding just one offer from Middle Tennessee State, the 6-foot-5, 235-pound Hamilton made numerous receptions with the coverage draped on him

247 on Hamilton today
