I agree with Flows sarcasm. I don't see what Zanca brings to the table over Jones. Quite a few coaches around the country seem to think Jones is a take over Zanca as well based on offers.

Honestly, I would take Walker Jones (6'3" 235 4.6fourty 4.0gpa 30act) over every LB we have committed right now. I'm saying this off of highlight tapes, measurables, and offers. I say Jones is right there with Vereen, but far above Zanca doesn't have SEC speed, D.Campbell unproven redshirted last year, Z.Barnes has never played LB

Vandy-bound if Bama doesn't give a true offer. 4.0 student that wants to be a doctor. Someone well-connected on our side says he's down to those two, and it will depend on what happens at Bama when he visits this week...

Again, he was #1 on our LB board(we are only likely taking one this year), but it doesn't look like he will be coming to MSU.

He had a great camp and tbh there are not many LBs left out there and we still wanted one more ILB in this class. He also seems to be the better of the 3 brothers. In camp he was compared to Sunseri with his ability to always be in the right place.

Plus we are not looking to add any LBs in this class to be starters next year, so a great pickup for UA.

Legacy. The kid grew up going to Bammer games. Uncle played for Bammer. Brother plays for Bammer.

Only surprise, is those that are surprised he is a Bammer

I think the surprise may be more to do with him getting a firm offer only being a 3 star. But when Foster decommited it opened the door for him. The staff looks to be finishing this class up before the season starts. With the focu going on the 2014 class from there.

Not surprised at this at all...for those of us who know and love the Jones boys and family...NOTHING is done without extensive prayer and thought...He loves Bama...for goodness sakes...Daddy and brothers played there...Gdaddy is a huge fan and is from Bama...on and on...Wish nothing but the best for these boys....THEY ARE THE REAL DEAL!!!Not just athletetically...

Pains me to see these Tennessee boys go elsewhere; 'specially some place like Bammer. Godspeed to him though, hope he does well. Still would like to see him in orange lol.
