Some posters on VQ said that his family really loves Sal and he may want to carve out his own niche. I still say Bammer lock though.

Yeah he might play the game for a while to build up some suspense but there is no way he isn't going to Bama in the end.

I honestly think you're right but it will be interesting to watch this going forward. If he even visits, I think that shows the staff can recruit pretty well.

It will be interesting, but I don't see him coming to UT. Funny though, I drove by his school today for lunch. And, his team HS isn't very good.

Never know, if we have a good year and the D plays like they are capable of he just might want to be a VFL.

Not a talent evaluator, but I wasn't that impressed with his film. Just watched his Junior tape on Rivals. He is a big, athletic LB that makes some plays, but nothing just jumps out at me as being special.

Looking at his offer list, the only real offers he has are from Alabama (legacy) and UT (in-state). Not saying he is a bad prospect, but there are certainly better LB prospects out there. I guess I don't understand the rumor of Coach Sunseri not wanting Richie Brown because he wasn't the type of LB he wanted, but Jones is okay to offer? I don't know. Jones doesn't seem to play that good of competition.

Not many D1 prospects lining up against him.

Didn't hear that one, that would be just crazy not to like Brown. He is going to be stud LB no matter where he goes. I didn't really think he would leave the state to play his college ball.

I tend to agree and the Alabama offer is no doubt a legacy offer and probably nothing more. I dont think he is a bad prospect either but he also doesn't jump out to me on film and look like a 4-star type of prospect.
