'13 OH RB Aregeros Turner

We finish with that along with the North commitment and I'm all smiles. Couldn't ask for much more from a University that's won 10 games in two years. Speaks volumes of CBJ and staff IMHO.

It's like I've been saying all along. The fact that that list is even possible says that UT is a fantastic school. We've just been missing a coach that players (and fans) have confidence in.

Butch is that man.

Everyone likes him from what I've heard. Its like the pic of him and all the recruits where he's in the middle of them, that's what it's all about. CBJ gets it. He sees this as his dream school and he knows how to sell himself, his staff, and most importantly UT. He seams to do this with integrity and ambition as well. DD biggest problem is he's a class one prick. I know a few doners at UT and they all say he's so cocky and arrogant. Not exactly appealing traits for a guy who's never accomplished jack when it comes to coaching. Saban is probably a prick no doubt, but he's also a football mastermind that knows how to win no matter the circumstances.

I was thinking this same thing earlier.

We have 17 commits right now.

Add:
Dobbs
Bell
Miller
Boyd
Gibson
Brown
Levenberry

and that's 24 commits. We could have taken 27 this year, so that's 3 that we can back count next year to give us 28 possible commits.

Now of course, we could then again fill the whole class, we could get Lawson, Adeosun, or even Ford. It could happen.

I'm just saying, I don't think the staff will be crying if they do not fill the class. In fact, they may be quite happy about it. There's a TON of talent in next year class, and thankfully, most of it lies in Tennessee and Georgia.

It was posted in some recruits thread a couple of days ago the staff told him they would hold him a spot and he could sign later. He had not taken his ACT. I don't recall the players name. I'm sure someone can chime in with his name and position.

I doubt we sign Gibson. I thought he reaffirmed his commitment to WV and was attempting to recruit Boyd there?

D.J. Jones

Not understanding of this recruitment over guys like Crayton? Same with Quinn. These two recruits I question. Hope I'm proven dead wrong though.

CBJ probably knows that the kid will do well in his system. Course this has probably been stated ad nauseum.

I see your point about Crayton. He will play with a chip on his shoulder his whole career if somebody would just give him a chance. We have the extra spot and its a position of need. I'd like to see Tennessee offer him. As for Woody Quinn, I think he'll be very productive. I like his film and in Butch Jones' TE friendly system he should flourish quite nicely.

I'm just not a fan of an unproven TE who can't redshirt and only has two years to play. That's just me. Hope you are right tho.

Well, all I know is Quinn is a big body, who can jump, has soft hands, and strength in both halves. If he can block well, and catch an occasional pass at 6'6'', I'm sure they'll find a use for him.

He is just like Danny Farmer, except as a TE.

Committed to Northern Illinois. Wish we would have taken this kid with Lee. He's got elite speed. Can't get around that.

I think they are very similar. I am fine with just taking 1 of them. We need a bigger back if we were considering taking another back. I'm sure they would take Ford, but I think taking Lee means Ford is out.

Well I agree that they're similar, but considering we won't be taking a full class and with the uncertainty with Hill and Smith. I don't think it would hurt taking Turner along side Lee. But I'm happy with Lee either way.
