It would be cool to get a guy from Brooklyn. I like his film as well.

"I'm really big in track and ranked second in the state and 11th in the nation in the 200 meter," he said. "I haven't told a lot of schools about track, but I want to try it out my freshman year to see how it'll work out."

I know it may sound funny but he sees the hole better when he's in traffic. When the defense forces him to cut and explode he actually runs better to me.

I laughed.

“I want to go into an offense in college that moves fast and takes advantage of speed,” Smith said. “Being from New York City as a football prospect is tough, because the city is more known for basketball. I was talking to a coach the other night and he even said ‘i didn’t know you guys could ball like that in New York‘ he didn’t realize that we have football speed here.”

"The current four-star prospect and No. 1 overall prospect in the state of New York according to 247Sports, was one of the most electric players in the Big Apple last season, rushing for nearly 1,000 yards thanks in large part to his size/speed combination.

Also a track standout, the 6-foot-2, 190-pounder is one of the top competitors in the 200-meter dash in New York State and has been timed as fast as 10.82 in the 100-meter dash (outdoors) and 4.4 seconds in the 40-yard dash.
In addition to currently being a four-star prospect with an overall grade of 90, Smith is the nation’s No. 6 all-purpose back according to 247Sports. - J.C. Shurburtt, 247

“He has an extra gear that he hits,” Clippers coach Brian McCartney said. “He is one of the fastest things I’ve ever seen run.”

“I’m getting faster,” Smith said. “I’m getting my coordination better and everything.”

He's right. The times I posted above were from 4/14/12. His 10.82 used to be his best time. He's improving his speed....
