Not that I really care, but I checked recently and Tubs does not have many commitments. He better start honoring some or finding others or he won't have a class.

Bill, you are one of my favorite rival posters, but PLEASE do something with that avatar!
:)

Bill's not a rival poster, he just pretends to be. He's all Vol. No true gator would let his daughter go to UT.

:)

She was accepted to Mich St, UF and UT, and had academic scholly offers to all 3. But she hated the idea of being 9 hours from her family. I had to put the big sell on her for UT. It was tough at first. But I was also accepted to UT coming out of HS. Always liked the school, just have a problem with that 3rd week of the fall.

So, she still hates being 1.5 hrs from home, but if one of you could get me a job there in kNox, we can solve that problem for her. hahaha.

Anyways, she really loves what UT offers her as a student, an athlete and as a person. And she is competing her tail off for yall. You folks would be proud of her. She battled a knee issue in the fall, but is back 100% healthy and ready to kick some tail this spring.

What does she play GatorBill? That's awesome, having a daughter that competes in college must be really enjoyable and make you proud.

She is a Rower. And yeah, pretty stinking proud of the kid for many reasons. She was on the Conference Honor Roll as a freshman (Rowing is C-USA because not enough SEC schools have Varsity Rowing) She also recieved a Commissioners Academic Medallion as a freshman and just missed out on it again this year (3.75gpa or better. She is 3.7 right now - PreVet)

She was cut from basketball and softball in HS. Her basketball tryout was just 2 days after we moved here from MI and a week before school started. She had made the 9th grade team back home, but her school here only had a Varsity, so she was left out.

Great kid. Competitive at everything in life. She has really grown as an athlete, a student, and person. It is exciting to watch.

That is really impressive. College is a whole new ball game, to be able to post good grades and practice rowing, which you have to be in great shape to do, is really something! UT is lucky to have her!
I've got a 17 month old and she can already launch a toy softball! Could be the next Monica Abbott! :dance2:

I hope yall land your top guys, and the wish list is complete. But if you dont, I hope Jaleel is the staff's Plan B. The kid can play at this level.

And thanks for the info. Im not a recruitnik, but I like to wander in here occasionally.

Would you mind getting dressed next time you wander around?

That is awesome. My daughters were riding horses from birth until we moved here 15 years later. Then got into sports.

My son is 5 next week. He can already hit the cover off the ball. Has a great arm, and is a lefty!!! And he insists that he is going to UT because his sister goes there. Im ok with that.

Her momma is always putting her in Gymboree classes and wanting to do tumbling, she was a cheerleader and we got Isabella(daughter) a UT cheerleader outfit and paci. Either way ill get my dream to come true, whether cheering or playing ball my kid will be wearing orange! Her Mom is tOSU fan yuck, i guess love conquers all. We lived there many years, Buckeye fans might just be the snootiest fans of all.

I have family In Clarkston and Waterford, Michigan. Any where near your old stopping grounds.

That is awesome. Would have loved to have my kid at Mich State, as it is always good to have a kid follow your footsteps, but it felt awesome to have a kid put family ahead of school allegiance.

Good luck with your kid, and have fun. As you probably already know, it goes far too fast!!!

I was born and raised in Lansing, MI. But, ironically enough, the Lady Vols Rowing coach is originally from Clarkston, MI. :good!::good!:

(and I agree 100% on tO$U fans)
