He may be one to watch. The he has been QB of arguably the nations best high school program since his sophomore year. Teammate of James Quick/Jason Hatcher. Looks to be visiting for the Orange and White game.

So. Stats:
136/187 (73%)
1,578 19 TD's 6 INT's

Jr Stats:
173/247 (70%)
2,570 yards 32 TD's 3 INT's
115 yards rushing 3 TD's

In regard to his highlights, he bootlegs on every pass he throws. His arm strength seems to be there but the players he is throwing to don't seem to be very open.

#17 must be James Quick, he's going to be a good one. This QB looks pretty good too, I say package that deal up Dooley and bring Wright and Quick to Knoxville...

Looks like a guy that could play a few positions. Altough I really like him at QB. Makes some tough throws on the run.

Did anyone else notice that Trintity's T is the power T? Must be VFL.

Trinity was head and shoulders above anyone in Louisville, or the state. We should go after Quick. He made the QB look good.

If taking Wright means Quick and Hatcher come along then I'm all for it. Wright was a good QB when I saw him last year three times. I wouldnt' say an elite QB but a good solid one. He did have elite talent surrounding him. A great offensive line, an outstanding running back and in Quick one of the most dominate high school WR's I've seen.

Am I getting the vibe that they are looking for a zone-read QB (like, with actual offers) or is this message board wishful thinking?

For the record he had 31 TD's and 7 int's his sophomore year. 2558 yrds Plus these stats do not include the state championship game against Male that year. Stats posted on this particular site are grossly inaccurate for his soph year. 136/187 (73%) 1,578 19 TD's 6 INT's. That had to come from Max preps. They never get it right. His junior stats are correct though. 3 years at that school starting every game (first years was freshman ball the rest varsity) Heading into his senior year next year he still has only had 1 loss as the leader of a very tradition rich program.

Yes I do. If you want the real stats I suggest this link

http://www.thsrock.net/images/pdffiles/gamenotes.pdf

If that does not work then simply go to thsrock.net and find the athletic section...go to KHSAA sports...varsity football and then game notes...it should give a complete rundown of stats to date and accomplishments of many of the players mentioned on this thread

With all due respect he has no offers and the internet is wrong in that regard as well. The only reason I signed up for this site was to set the record straight.

He has visited UT, WKU, Louisville, UK and Indiana so far. Nebraska, FSU, Miss St., Alabama, Purdue, Oregon, USC and Iowa St. and Vandy are all in contact.

I am quite sure the recruiting will pick up during his senior year. The kid needs to prove himself as a QB year in and year out. Thats when the offers will come.

Believe me I have watched him several times. He stands in the pocket, reads the D, he is deadly accurate, he turns nothing into something when a play breaks down and is very elusive.

They run a very complex system here with up to 4 audibles on every single play. Its fun to watch a kid of his age run an offense as smooth as Peyton Manning did for sure!

He's going to throw to the O Line?

Sorry. Had to. Delete away, Mods.

You seriously asked that question? I said if you give him an O line (protection), and ANYONE (TE, WR's) that can catch the football that UT would be just fine. I can or maybe should be more specific when I type I suppose.

Apparently you favor someone else which is cool. I am merely supplying the info that I promised on another thread
