No reason not to keep Staley as a GA. If I'm not mistaken universities are allowed to carry 4 GAs starting this year. Besides the Hutchinson connection has worked out well for us when we needed to plug holes in our team.

Very little talk just a day away from a big part of class signing the dotted line.

Anything new from hubbs or anybody else regarding how this one ends up??

Am I overstating this signing by saying its one of the top 5 spots in this class???

He will be a good piece no doubt, but its not as make or break as the last juco DL haul. We need good HS DT's. IMO.

I think he's a huge piece.

He would be one of the starting DTs next year IMO. Our defensive line was not very good this year and this guy could come in and go a long ways in shoring it up. Having him and Couch starting on the inside would be a nice combo. Then we throw big McCullers out there in running/goal line situations and Sentimore in passing situations. Those four along with O'brien are a very nice rotation of DTs.

Today -- no specific time, he said. UT vs. Missouri. Not sure about all the changes in Vol country. Likes stability at Missouri. Story left it open, but did not sound overwhelmingly positive.

TN or Missouri...mentioned Coach Staley being gone. Met with Jones and Jancek. Meeting went well. Heard good things about Stripling.

Liked his visit to Missouri. DL coach supposedly coolest coach on team. Stability of coaches a plus.

Distance not a factor.

Yeah... McCullers is a starter, period. But I could see the backups being Sentimore and Bradley

Bradley also said that he "really liked" the fact that we're moving back to a 4-3 in the 247 article.

I don't know who he's going to pick. It's a pretty tough decision. With Staley gone, he's had to completely rebuild all of his relationships with UT outside of his connections via Norcross.
