'13 JUCO DT Ben Bradley (Auburn commmit)

Little did most realize this whole discussion is about Bradley standing in line at Taco Bell pointing at his #4 combo meal and taking a pic for twitter.

God bless you Pa. The kids will appreciate you later in their lives when they have to go in front of employers or customers.

Really, what grades?

6th and 7th grade Social Studies.

This is a huge culture shock for me. I'm obviously from the North, but I also hail from rural, white Pennsylvania. Not to mention I was prepped to be a high school teacher, not middle school. I'm on a learning curve to say the least.

Shew, I bet so. Whereabouts in Charlotte, if you don't mind me asking? If so, understood.

That would be a culture shock almost anywhere in Charlotte. Best of luck, my man.

I live in Mooresville but I work in South End, right down the road from Bank of America stadium.

There are worse places, so I can't really complain. I'm in a better financial/career position than I was this time last year.

Hear ya. :hi:

Plan on continuing to try to teach HS in the area, or just adjusting to middle school?

Go bug Marquez North real quick btw.

edit: ^^ the proper attitude. best wishes.

Ha I actually was thinking about North the other day when I was near Mallard Creek. I wish I had some reason to run into him and give him a "Go Vols." Sadly, I'm saddled with hormonal middle schoolers all day.

I'm indifferent if I teach middle or high school at this point. Both have their shortcomings and strengths. Ideally I would like to teach in the suburbs like Mooresville, Iredell County, Concord, or Kannapolis but we will see.

The Ben Bradly situation has helped me give a new found respect for some of these people that bring what information that they can.

I talked to someone very close to the situation, and was told that he is Nebraska bound. 3 days later he commits to AU.

Thanks to everyone that brings what information they can.
