Harris grew up a Tennessee fan, but he says he is open to all the schools recruiting him.

"Tennessee was always my favorite growing up but I am very open right now," he said. "Academics, coaching staff, depth chart and competition will be the things I look at."

According to Cody McKee on twitter he was at GaTech this past weekend, will be at UK this weekend then UT for junior day.

Only kid at milton that can block Carl Lawson. Him and Lawson will go visit UT either for jr day or a off day.

Milton is really starting to produce some good players. Carl Lawson will be one of the most recruited players in the country. I believe Bama is after him hard.

Toney Williams was from Milton. I hope he left UT on good terms so it won't hurt our recruiting at Milton.

"Coach Pittman and Coach Graham are my main recruiters," he said. "I got a chance to talk with coach Pittman a bunch at the end of the visit. We watched my film together and I liked him a lot.

"It was good to see Coach Pittman coaching the current players," Harris said. "They were really flying around out there during practice. I like his coaching style and how he breaks everything down with technique and everything. It was awesome."

Harris named Tennessee and Kentucky as his two top schools. Along with his two favorites, Harris has also fielded interest from Georgia, Georgia Tech, UCF, Vanderbilt and Boston College.

He tweeted the other day that he was excited about something to do with Lawson. I'd love to see Butch offer Harris and Helms (another Milton linemen committed to Wake) they are closer to Lawson than Jenkins is. They both seem real firm committed to Wake though. Although a SEC offer could change that. If we can get Harris and Helms I guaraentee you we could pull Lawson. I will also say I was a sophomore at Milton when Harris was a freshmen and I remember him always wearing UT gear so I think he grew up a Vol fan.

I'm for it. Take Kendrick and Sanders as tackles. Weisman and Kondolo as guards. And secure Lawson with getting Harris at C.

Worst case scenario he secures us Lawson :)
