Also, may be a 1 horse race now.

So glad twitter wasn't around when I was in HS. If I got hateful responses every time I said something regrettable... Let's just say I'd have issues.

Everything this kid says needs to be taken with a grain of salt. No need to even wonder about him. This one will go until he signs in the dotted line with someone, and in the meantime, everyone will think they have a shot.

I'm not an "old timer" when it comes to following recruiting but I've been paying a little bit of attention to the process for the past few years, and I figured out REAL quick to basically take EVERYTHING reported by UGA's recruiting beat writers with a huge grain of salt. The Kipp Adams, Radi Nablusis, Chip Towers, Michael Carvells, etc... Those guys are BIG TIME pandering to the UGA faithful. And it seems that they take delight in trolling fans of rival schools, as there are so many who will REPEATEDLY take the bait. Tonight's freakout was just the next example.

SERIOUSLY, PEOPLE. TAKE A DEEP BREATH AND DON'T TWEET OR FACEBOOK ANYTHING NEGATIVE TO ANY OF THESE PROSPECTS, AT LEAST UNTIL AFTER THE LOI HAS BEEN FAXED IN.

What's so hard to understand about the difference of posting our opinions and having a discussion about Bellamy on a Vol forum, and going directly to his twitter to personally antagonize him about his comments?

It's not rocket science.

I don't know what's worse. The twitter stalkers or the board police that demand we walk on egg shells for fear of scaring off some over emotional 18 yr old football player. Obviously in hindsight, taking to twitter isn't the best idea, but buggywhipping the sh*t out of this guy because he felt the need to set someone straight he felt was disrespecting UT is a bit drastic .

That's not really true.

This kid seems to live on twitter...and I have my doubts that he spends equal time on VN.

That being said, it's possible, but I have a feeling his iPhone gets a lot more twitter action than VN refreshes.

I'll be the 1st to admit I check out recruits twitter. They post info related to recruiting alot. I NEVER post anything to them on twitter. Maybe that makes me a twitter stalker, but I can say once I know we are out of it for them, I stop bothering to see what they are tweeting. :hi:

Lol, Morris tweeted about jmoore on here saying he begged for a visit. Sure not all recruits do it but some do.

Why the hell would any TN fan post ANYTHING negative toward a potential recruit period?! Are you that stupid really? It's comical how a few morons can make our entire fanbase look neurotic. If you MUST say something to the kids make it positive, if you cannot resist the temptation to ***** at a potential recruit via social networking you have a problem. Seems like common sense to me, but I guess not.... Leave the kids alone

Yeah, I know. Some read VN, that's for sure, and I stand by my statement earlier that I wish it wasn't the case. We don't necessarily make the most welcoming group at times...today being one of those times.

I'm sure this dude isn't the only moron to send potentially damaging statements to recruits. We as Volnation have some Entitled Idiots who think they have to bodyguard the UT. News flash it was here well before you and will be here long after. UT doesn't need a new spokesman. It needs fans with some integrity, common sense wouldn't hurt either. JMO
