The secret of Milton (Fla.) wide receiver Isaiah Jones has begun to get out. The talented 6-foot-4, 210-pound wideout is starting to gain interest from colleges and recently landed a pair of offers.

"My coach told me that Tennessee wanted to offer me and Louisville offered me on Thursday," Jones said. "I get letters every day from South Carolina, Florida State, and South Florida as well as a few other schools."

Jones indicated he hasn't yet spoken to any coaches from Tennessee but hopes to in the near future.

"Louisville and Tennessee are cool because I’ve talked to them the most,” he said. “But they’re the ones I know the most about.

Jones said he knows little about Arkansas and Tennessee at this juncture, although the Vols have the benefit of his relationship with secondary coach Derrick Ansley.

“He’s been on me since he was at UCF,” Jones said. “So I can tell he does really want to get me up there, and he’s a good coach.”

It’s been my dream to go to Florida State,” he said. “I’ve been watching them for years and they’re real close.”


As a junior, he registered 35 catches for 500 yards and five touchdowns as well as a kickoff return score.
