What's the logic in waiting tip mid October?

If its to help momentum then it would probably be better to do it now

Certain schools will not let you take an OV if you are committed to a rival school (i.e. attending the UT/UGA game on September 29th).

Turman and Green would be the best two backs we have had in a class since when?

He's made for the SEC. A combo of Turman and Green would be the most underrated RB duo in the country. That's a pretty good pair to line up behind a QB. Both are physical runners that would add a lot to the roster IMO.

Is it just me or does it seem like forever since we've had an efficient downhill runner? Wish Hardesty had been healthier... A combination of such as the one you mentioned with our ever improving offensive line could be serious.

Hardesty would've run for 150+ easy vs Florida. The ankle tackles that took down Neal, Hardesty would've ripped through them. We don't have any "violent" runners which won't cut it in the SEC.

This has probably been discussed already, but this is the reason I don't understand how Lane only got 1 carry that game. Also, it is a problem when our most violent runner is a linebacker.
