A few Sun Belt offers. Really hope this doesn't become another offer. I'd like to fight an SEC team for a signature.

We are fighting SEC teams for a bunch of signatures, but those players are waiting to see how the Vols do this fall. If we win like everyone believes that we will, then commitments from more recognizable recruits will come.

If in four years the guy is starting and getting the job done, will it matter whether or not we beat Georgia and LSU for his signature?

One day our fans will understand that someone is always first to the gate to open it and you dont want to be last when you have been losing cuz at that point your irrelevant. Once they get one big offer everyone takes notice. Last yr Dooley was first on a on of guys and guess who came in right after with an offer bama then fla etc bama specifically takes more looks when we fin someone since Saban knows dooleys ability to find talent

Correct, the direction the team takes this season will greatly impact our recruiting, and coaching. As of today we have 11 commits. This year was suppose to be one where we didn't have all that many scholarships to offer. Does anyone know how many we have? Seems like it was less than 20. Actually, I hope we don't take too many more for a while to leave enough open for these "better" recruits. We just have to win some games we're not supposed to, and not loose to anyone who we're supposed to beat.

“I’ve been talking a lot with my parents, and they say probably whichever one of them offers soonest out of Miami and Tennessee, I think I’m probably going to commit to either one of those.

Neither team has offered atp.

Pittman said he only had one offer left, and he really liked me for it and he was real interested,” Pertile said. “He told me he’s going to do a little more evaluating.

Interesting...makes me wonder if Morris is a silent.

Probably one offer left for his position on the OL - not the total OL scholies I would think.

To reinforce what was said yesterday, Pertile feels as if Clemson and Tennessee could be next to offer. He will camp at Miami (FL) soon and feels that they may offer. He will consider committing to Miami or Tennessee if/when either offers, and he plans to visit Tennessee again in July. All per Chris Nee of Rivals.
