Jay is right. Rod's lack of a forefoot is far more limiting than most here understand. I never expected him to be a Vol and I don't expect him to play professionally in the future. Wish him the best of luck though...inspiration and hard work have already taken him farther than anyone should expect.

Prosthetic technology is advanced enough to compensate. Coaches were probably scared as this is uncharted territory.
