"I am supposed to go up to Tennesseearound July 20," said Robinson. "I am going up there for their camp. That's probably going to be it for me this summer. They offered me a few weeks ago.

"I talked to coach Lance Thompsonon the phone. He said they loved my highlight tape. He said they want to see me in person. They want to show me around campus. He told me over the phone I have an offer from them. I really like their coaches. I like how they run their offense."

Who's going to throw him the ball?

Jeremy Johnson or Hayden Rettig both Elite 11 material. :)

This is the SEC nobody is elite until they prove they can play and throw the ball. From what i seen out of auburn qbs this year he would be dumb to go to a run offense thats is whyt CP came here and not anywhere else. Tennesse will always be a top destination for WR for the next 4-5 years as long as we keep a solid QB in the mix Tennessee will be WR U. Auburn not so much the only reason this kid goes to AU is in state thats it not because of the offense the QB nothing.

Seriously man, why do you keep coming on the TN board and posting this garbage about who all is visiting Auburn or who got offered by Auburn? We don't care! Go to your Auburn site and let your fans know this info.

wrong and if you don't like reading his posts put him on ignore. If you feel he's trolling then hit the report button and someone will look at it

The post you quoted was no different than hundreds in this forum and is exactly what the recruiting forum is for. Visits and offers by other schools are important info in the recruiting game.

Because this is a great board, other teams don't really have one comparable to it, and it's free.

Thanks utvolpj, I really don't try to troll or flame. All I do is post updates on prospects AU is targeting because most of the time Volnation already has a thread on the player because Tennessee has offered or is in the process of offering most of the same players.

The reason I post here is because I like to hear what other fan-bases think on certain recruits. I can't stand the sunshine pumpers on most AU sites. :)

They're our a lot of great SEC message boards out there but this one is the best for recruiting if you ask me.

Other great free sites:

Tigerdroppings (SECRant)
Auburn Eagle
Hogville
CockyTalk
TexAgs
SECTalk

Exactly, I only really look at the recruiting forum, so when I think of VN and say other teams don't have something on this level, that's what I'm really talking about, the recruiting aspect of VN.

I do like how every prospect has his own thread for discussion. The only other forum that's like that is CockyTalk(USCe).

If you think CockyTalk and TexAgs are "great" free sites, then that tells me a lot about your judgment.

All those sites are great for different reasons troll. :lolabove:

TexAgs is great for watching the Aggie fans meltdown after any bad news or a lose.

CockyTalk has a great recruiting section but not as many posters as VolNation.

Wanna try flaming/failing again?

Wtf is wrong with you? You have your preference of sites. I think those sites are garbage. JMO. I don't post on any of them. I rarely even read them. So, how am I trolling again? Your stupidity is just astounding.

Four-star wide receiver Earnest Robinson from Pinson Valley in Pinson, Ala., committed to Auburn Saturday. He chose the Tigers over more than 30 offers including Alabama, LSU, Florida State, Miami and Oregon.

“I committed today,” Robinson said. “I’m coming down to Auburn and going to be part of the family. I’m an Auburn Tiger now.

“...I really love Auburn.”

Robinson, 6-foot-2 and 200 pounds, said he first told Trooper Taylor of his decision.

“He was jumping around crazy,” he said. “Coach (Tommy) Thigpen picked me up. It was great.

“I really love Troop He’s like my family, like my dad. He’ll take care of me and be on me hard about my education. Thigpen is just like my dad. He’s cool, laid back. I can talk to them about anything.”

Robinson is excited about the future of Auburn’s offense under new coordinator Scot Loeffler.

“The offense is going to be serious,” Robinson said. “The new coordinator from the pro’s and the plays are going to be ridiculous.
