He accepted a grayshirt a few weeks ago. He suffered a season ending injury and is still rehabing. But we missed on the last spot we were trying to fill so he may go ahead and sign now. We will see.

"Coach Saban switched my scholarship to a grayshirt," he said. "I have known about it for about two months. We have been keeping it on the down low. We didn't know for sure if that was going to be the option. It was due to the ACL injury. It will give me more time to get stronger.

"Honestly, I think it's the best decision for me. I trust in the coaches. They are going to make the right decision. They won three out of the four national championships. I am gong to honor my commitment. I am staying with them.

Next year, we may see Bama asking 5 stars to greyshirt...I'm still smh that they convinced 4 elite RBs to sign with them...4!!! I don't care if one of them will play in the slot...he has all the potential in the world to play RB at any other college in the country, except Bama!!

Sounds like such a terrible problem to have. You are worried about how they are going to play all of these backs, while we are worried about what will happen if Neal and Lane get hurt.
