Has this guy just not been evaluated because you never really see a kid with Penn St, USCe, and Tenn offers thats a 2 star????

No but a similar situation. Late in the game, try to fill a spot type offer. Lets face it, Auburn and Penn State are in similar situations we are in

I posted this earlier on Recruiting Talk thread

Walton has received offers from Auburn and Tennessee. Walton has already visited Minnesota and Penn State, the school he's committed to. He plans to visit South Carolina on Jan. 18.

He's thinking about visits to Tennessee and Auburn and deciding on dates. Walton talked today with Malzahn.

He flies around and makes plays. Plays against decent competition (3A, Alabama has 6 classifications). He looks like he can contribute down the road

Wow what an athlete. In that hudl film he plays RB, LB, KR, PR. Returned a couple kicks for TD's, blocked a couple kicks, lays the wood as a LB too. No wonder he's picked up offers from USCjr, UT and Auburn recently. Nice film.

Any one have the story on this kid?

Walton plans to officially visit South Carolina on Jan. 18, and has already visited Penn State and Minnesota. That leaves Auburn and Tennessee, who are likely to receive visits on either Jan. 11 or Jan. 25.

Walton has been solid to Penn State, but the recent departure of defensive coordinator Ted Roof to Georgia Tech has Walton re-thinking his pledge.

Walton said Tennessee is recruiting him as a linebacker, Auburn is recruiting for either offense (fullback) or defense (linebacker). He pledged to Penn State to play linebacker.

Has to be someone that hasn't been to camps and at a school not big enough for analyst to go see. 2 star kids don't have that offer list. I trust South Carolina, Ted Roof is no slouch, and Ellis Johnson sure as heck knows defense.

My friend from Daphne said that Walton went to TJ Yeldon's high school before transferring. He said that he is a good kid and stood out on the field, even while sharing it with TJ.
