Goldman holds a Vols offer, along with 30+ offers. He will be one of the most highly rated DT's in the '12 class.

Also was named to the Nike Camp All 2nd Team Defense. He was 1 of 2 players from the 2012 class to be named on 1st or 2nd teamd defense. He also attended the FBU Top Gun camp in Va.

"I have been to Maryland, Miami, Penn State, and West Virginia," Goldman said. "I am trying to get down to Clemson and hopefully the Florida Gators."

"This summer I went to a camp at Penn State and I went to the University of Miami," Goldman said.

"At Penn State I didn't really get to tour everything but I saw the football center and the stuff like that. I thought it was pretty decent. It seemed good.

"Miami wasn't what I expected, but that's not a bad thing. I thought there would be a lot more students and there really wasn't. Not that many people go there, but that's good. If you go there the classrooms would be smaller."

"I want to get away from home but I want to go somewhere where I can come back when I want to," he said.

Goldman claims he has no leader & he has yet to make any plans visits for this year or early next year.

NM It's on Rivals. FYI I had to zoom out 3-4 times to fit all his offers on the page

On the season he recorded 40 tackles, 5.5 sacks, a fumble recovery and an interception.

Virginia is one of the schools that has verbally offered Goldman, and he will give the Cavaliers a look.

"Actually the other day I spoke with Coach (Anthony) Poindexter and the head coach, Coach (Mike) London," he said. "They had come by the school last Thursday. It was just basically a, 'Hi, bye' kind of thing. I introduced myself and that was it. Basically all they said was their name but they were talking to my coaches. I'll be keeping in touch with them."

"The biggest thing for me is just how the coaches are," he explained. "It's their attitude. You can't have a negative attitude and be a coach. I'm looking at team moral, too. I want the school to have academics and I want to be a part of a team that can win a championship."

This guy is our absolute #1 target on defense this year. He's highlighted on the recruiting board.

I would hope so, Kenny Powers. I haven't seen him play, but if all those schools want him as a junior then I can only imagine what kind of monster he is on the field.

Too true Walter Sobchak. Shame on you for waiting so long to see that movie. My all-time fave.

ehh - not going to watch a highlight tape with that crappy editing - you need to atleast highlight the player pre-play on every play... especially if they aren't a skill position player. Hard to tell from that distance half the time till the play is already over.

Wow! Dominates the LOS. Disrupts schemes. Game changer!
I'm not familiar w/ the level of competition but just from watching film EG seems to be a more dominate force than JC (2011). JMO.

Who hasn't offered...

An incredible feat if CDD and Staff sign Goldman.
