I think we should give him an offer. Sometimes decent players who are happy to be here are better in the long run than talented kids who sign for many reasons, usually not total dedication to a school. See: Bryce Brown, David Oku

What difference does it make?

A lot!

No one is saying take a less talented player because he is from TN. We all want the best players no matter where they are from. Now that that is out of the way, on to why it matters.

Do you not want a talented TN guy to stay home? Is it not a sense of pride to want talented TN guys to play for the home team? If a guy is talented enough to play in the SEC and make a difference dont you want him to play here? That is all people mean by this, if a guy is gonna be good and he is from TN then we all should want him that much more. On top of that it does make a difference for a player to love the school he plays for, as it would for you.

I would like the most talented regardless of where he is from. However, I do believe that the more TN players we sign, the more talent the state will see.

Update:
Not hearing much from recruiters. Lead Hendersonville back to State Semi-Final Game for 5A. Lost to Henry County the eventual 5A Champs.

Hunter had great season overall, however he didn’t have as much receiving talent in 2011, as in 2010. David Priddy, Tez Byrant, and Chad Dye were consistant receivers, the others not so much.

Hunter has a great arm, and I am surprised he hasn’t been signed.

I looked for the answer to this 2 days ago and couldnt find where he signed. Last info I found is he was interested in Arky State but that was prior to Malzahn taking over.
