A 2012 quarterback worth at least keeping an eye on is Hendersonville signal-caller Hunter Brown. His stock is quietly rising and he's commanding increased attention from BCS-level schools.

I think it's clear this staff is not looking to take a short QB.

I would think if we were ever in a position to take a project QB with a possible upside it is this class. We sit pretty well with several highly rated QBs for 2013...so I would be fine with almost any QB they took in this class as he just adds some depth. If they choose to use the ship on the D where more help is needed....I'm fine with it.

Brown has a good, strong arm. Interesting prospect, although it would be VERY hard for me to believe that Tennessee will offer him, especially at this stage in the recruiting game. Plays in a flexbone-style offense, if I remember correctly.

Idk if I would be but I'm not a coach. This kid has 0 offers. There's no way UT will be his first

Sounds like he may be close to getting that first offer from UT if he performs well. Hope hes good enough to earn one.

Well if he's good enough for Chaney and Hinshaw he's good enough for me

Well, he has the footwork part down getting away from under the center. Can he catch a shotgun snap?

He is a decent QB. He is in a pretty competitive division in 6A and has done well. Who knows what he could do with better talent around him.
