scholorship I believe. This one really makes me scratch my head. Why would we offer a kicker this year???

Guess there are rampant rumors Palardy is looking bad.

Doubt we'd take a kicker with limited numbers unless Palardy is having some serious problems, which is definitely looking like the case.

Wow, dude called this on the football forum yesterday haha.

I was just reading that, then I saw on twitter that he had committed.

Palardy must REALLY be doing something bad or have an ongoing injury to offer a kicker imo.

Bit of a head scratcher. Anybody know anything about him? Can he kick over Mt. Cody?

I mean honestly, a good kicker is worth a schollie. If Pallardy doesn't work out, then we can assume that a roster spot will be opening up anyway...

Seriously. How many games have we lost in the last few years due to bad kicking. MC Bowl, Alabama, there has to be more as well.

Offering a scholly to a kicker who was 7/16 on FG's? Sorry... kind of ridiculous.... never felt this way about a commitment before.

He's got to tone up the accuracy. He apparently was offered just today and committed on the spot

He could be a kickoff specialist

Maybe he's got uber range but needs to work on accuracy. Maybe there were extenuating circumstances. Maybe there were a lot of long range attempts last year. Maybe he's being looked at as a punter.

We have to assume the coaches aren't insane, until proven otherwise.

What are the chances Dooley let's this guy handle kickoffs and Palardy take care of Field Goals. Maybe this will take some stress off of Palardy's leg and he can heal properly. I wouldn't put I was less than 50% on my highlight video.

I would agree that this guy is going to be the power. Save Palardy's leg for the field goals. If this guy can already average between 60-75 yds on kickoffs, then that is pretty telling.
