After watching his film. Then watching the Santos film. Then rewinding and watching again,,,,final thoughts. Hmm?? Santos all the way. Dalton brings the "IT" factor. This kid,,,nahh. He just does not appear to have the "I'm going to break your nose" attitude. Not to mention that Santos has the horizontal burst that is just phenomenal. Look at both kids senior highlights and you will see that Santos is a hungry beast. Not to mention that this RC class does not have room for another mick.

Who said we take this kid over Santos? Also, do we think Santos will start as a freshman at middle linebacker in the SEC?

This recruit had like a billion tackles this year. I can't believe we are just trying to get in with him. It seemed like he was in double digits in tackles every time I read something about him. He's definitely a head Hunter type of backer.

If football doesn't work out for this guy, a career as Jake Gyllenhal's stunt double is in the bag.

You never know. Injuries and lack of depth could force the issue. Preferably not though.

Dude looks like he is 27 years old still wearing his high school jersey.

He is only 25...Mississippi has different school age requirements :) total joke

I should know, I am from the capital of MS...

For everyone that loves to determine the quality of a recruit based on a 40 or some other physical measure...check out the 4.1 in the shuttle...that is absolutely ridiculous for a kid 6'2" 237 (so much that I question the time). We don't have a linebacker on our team that gets close to that shuttle time...

One would have to wonder with the miss on a true 4-3 DE, if Wilcox wants to put the full court press on guys who can play a 3-4? Jacobs, McCullers, Sentimore, and O'Brien are perfect fits in a 3-4. Santos and Brown are perfect MLBs for the 3-4. Just a thought.

This kid is fast and quick. He is the back field blowing up plays and can drop back and play a little cover also. I would love UT to snag this young man.

4.1 shuttle!!!! That is super quick for a guy that size. Some 175 lb WR can't run it that fast!!! Are we on this guy hard?
