People sometimes underestimate the power of a good college level S&C program. Combine it with freak athletes with good genetics and some miraculous things happen.

Or an all u can eat buffet daily .... Lunch lady land IMO .

I expect him to push early and often. And if one of them is messing up he'll play. Saban isn't scared to play a freshman DB(D.Milliner). I don't think Sunseri or Ansley will be either.

im completely agree. honestly out of patterson in this past class, im most excited about bonner. could not believe he fell in our lap.

Sentimore is the guy I wanted the most. Instant impact guy like I thought. I do like the secondary class from last year. Bonner and McNeil are elite talents. Gray has wonderful tools for the CB position. And they've got a much better secondary coach.

ahhhh dood. sentimore is my mane. that guy is going to blow it up. going to be a force.

People don't realize Sentimore is one of the best D-linemen in the league. Was more than happy when he signed. Wish we had gotten his teammate Jacobs at CB.

yea i dont know why jacobs wanted a&m, seemed like he was ready to commit to UT then that whole strange JUCO announcement day for UT went to ish. but ill take sentimore all day over Damien Jacobs.

You can look at the Sentimore thread. I was hoping we pushed for him the whole time. He's known to be disruptive as hell. Bama fans were banking on him replacing Marcell Dareus.

20lbs? Wow. That's impressive.

From 15 to 16 y/o, i worked at a Baskin Robbins and next door was Nautilus gym that I joined. Would eat ice cream and work out 5-6 days per week. Went to a different hs than all my friends from jr high. When my hs played their has in basketball, they all thought I did steroids. Did not believe it was just ice cream :)

Went from 6' and 135 lbs to 6'1" and 185 lbs in about 8 months. That was with no program or S&C coach. All good weight too. I was a late bloomer, so technically I did 'roids. Just made them inside with my teenage roid factories haha. Need a shirt that said "Body by Baskin- Robbins" haha :)

It's possible. I put on 20 lbs in one summer from my 9th to 10th grade year in high school. Girls freaked out when I came back to school. Good times. Lol

Yea but 30 pounds is alot different than 20 when you are his size. You're right tho 20 pounds can definitely be done, I put on close to that the summer b4 my senior year. But putting on 30 pounds of muscle that quickly would be insane at his size unless the person is juicing or something. I see where hammer corrected himself tho. Putting on 19 pounds of muscle is still extremely impressive in the that short of a time frame. Sounds like he's already got the size to play if needed.

Glad the coaches gave him a second chance and hope he doesn't take it for granted (not that I think he will..just sayin). I'm really excited about his potential bc he' got all of the tools. Hubbs was giving him high praise the other day and said he wouldn't be surprised at all to see him in the lineup this year. I hope he's right bc we could definitely use him.

Deion Bonner -- Seemingly fearless from the moment he stepped onto campus and began participating in seven-on-seven drills this summer, the 5-foot-11, 178-pound Bonner possesses a physicality and aggressive attitude mandatory at cornerback. He is physically very raw, having only played in six games as a senior last year at Carver (Columbus, Ga.) High School, but Bonner has the tools to help on special teams quickly and a bright future ahead of him.
