Compiling the list from Rivals and Scout he has offers from:

Tennessee
Kansas
Nebraska
Ole Miss
Florida International
Texas Tech

That a pretty decent offer list with a 4.37 40 to boot.

I'm not getting into an argument over this because it has been rehashed time and time again but offer lists are important and I'm not a star gazer in the slightest....

No they are not, their are tons of reasons why a coach may not offer the kid.

Maybe he hasn't camped a lot?
Maybe he doesn't fit their defense?
Maybe he didn't camp well?
He may be under the radar

I'm really going to have to trust the coaches on this one...

Speed looks great...I just thought we were saving our DB's spots for Diggs and Elston

That is exactly why I question it, with so little room why take this kid when you have Elston & Diggs still out there.

They will find a way to get who they want. They get paid to do this so we should try to trust them on their judgement.

We might have received word that we are out of play with one of them.

His tape is all over youtube, he's been graded by Rivals and Scout and he camped at FSU and Bama according to Scout. That answer all of your questions?

I will stay out of the senseless star, offer list, 40 time arguments and say this after watching his film: Kid loves to HIT people!

Article on SI.com by 247's Barton Simmons about a seven-on-seven last summer...
Upside is also the key word when describing Daniel Gray of Boyd Anderson. Gray has good size at 6-0/170, and he has phenomenal speed. He was possibly the fastest player in a very fast camp with 10.4 personal best in the 100 and a third place finish in the state championships in the 100. That speed and size has earned him interest from Florida, Miami and Cincinnati among others.
But Gray is raw. His backpedal and change of direction are well behind his pure speed and athleticism. With development over the next year, though, Gray could be a quick riser on the recruiting trail.

That doesn't mean anything. A school is not going to offer someone over video tape. They are going to want to see him in person.

All this proves to me is that our coaches are willing to sit-down and take the time to evaluate a player. If Jay stands by a commitment from a FL guy, I don't see why we shouldn't.
