Only because he was the best had at the time. Couch was banged up a little bit, no Hood, and no D. McCullers.

Trent Taylor - After showing some production in the spring, Taylor hasn't really been the same this fall. Taylor didn't make the two deep at defensive end, and it would appear that he may possibly redshirt if there are no major injuries in front of him. To move up the depth chart, Taylor must play the run better in terms of gap responsibilities.
