Offensive Lineman

Windsor
HT: 6'4
WT: 278
Bench: 345
Squat: 525
GPA: 3.0
Class: 2012

Tennessee has offered, per Scout

Rivals
Scout
Jr. Film

Scout.com Evaluation: A high motor is something that can't be taught and O'Connor has one. No matter if he's playing offense or defense, he is playing all out. Offensive line is his future position in college. Currently plays left tackle but is better suited for right tackle or a move inside to guard. Uses his hands well, has good feet and athletic ability. Has a frame to be a 300+ pounder. Has some very minor things he could improve on like keeping his hands up in pass pro and getting his heals in the ground in his stance but all things that are fixable. D1 prospect that will get offers from BCS conference programs.

Big time player, de-committed from PSU. Had a UT offer from a while back.

Please provide a link. I think that is currently a false rumor based on message boards.

Besides Penn State, we look like his best offer, so I could see him having interest.

Agreed. Some people think if they see something on a message board, it's a "report." A report is something that is written up by someone who covers sports as a job.

Just watched his film. This dude is mean! Exactly what we need up front, he punishes the DL.

Per Skeeter
an olineman by the name of oconnor decommitted from psu yesterday, our coaches got a letter sent out yesterday and they're about to start trying to make phone contact with him

He obviously isn't scared to go away from home.

I figured this would start happening. The thing is, how do you approach these kids? You don't want to seem like a sleazy opportunist.

Yea, but the sleaziest probably gets him. Someones going to be first to go after him again, why not us, no more nice guys cause everyone knows where they finish.

he decommitted from PSU but probably still has interest in going to college. He already has a UT offer so what's sleazy about calling him?
