Because there’s enough other foolishness going on tonight that this might not be on anyone’s radar.

Currently tied 10-10 approaching the end of the 3rd.

Someone’s got to be the 5th highest ranked conference champion. They’re in no danger of being seeded or anything but I think they could potentially fall behind Washington State and be out altogether with a loss. Technically the PAC-whatever still exists.

For those not closely following, this game has zero effect on our situation. The Group of 5 champ will be in no matter what. If Boise loses, someone else from the Group of 5 will take their place.

Tulane likely edges a 2-loss Boise. Washington St is in a battle with Ore St right now as well. Down 7 in the 4th.

This automatic group of 5 is a joke.

This. This one just impacts if it’s Boise State or maybe Tulane or someone else getting in at #12 instead of the SEC/B1G 5 seed.

Turns out Boise State has Jeanty and Wyoming doesn’t. 17-13 late and Wyoming turns it over on downs. So we probably get a “Heisman front runner gets to test a stiffer defense” story line.
