Can we please PLEASE win this game. As a vol fan I am starving for a win against the gators. If we can end this terrible streak, this team will be remembered as the team that ended the florida streak, no matter what happens the rest of the season.

It's not just the 11 straight, it's 6 wins and 24 losses in the last 30 games. Florida dominance goes way deeper than the current streak.

This Saturday is going to be the best day of your life and one you will remember forever.

Signed by someone who was in Neyland in 1982 when we ended Alabama's 11 year winning streak.

I remember being at the 1992 game when we just started playing them every year. We had a 15-7 all time W-L record. Then I remember the losses starting piling up and by 2004 we only had a 19-15 W-L edge. Then in 2008, it was tied all time 19-19. All hell has broken loose since then. (post 2004)

But yeah, we have only beaten Florida 6 times (out of 30) in the last 43 years

Going by the stats of the previous 11 contests the outcome shouldn't rest on the arm of Dobbs (unless he completes 3+ to the other team) but rather on his legs. I'm hoping he goes hog wild on speed options, sprint options, and read options. Work the perimeter with Kamara and use Hurd as the change of pace on the dive.

Cam Newton? Wth??

Is the writer of dreaming of an alternate universe where Cam was a gator?

Cam Newton? Wth??

Is the writer of dreaming of an alternate universe where Cam was a gator?

Newton initially attended the University of Florida, where he was a member of the Florida Gators football team in 2007 and 2008. As a freshman in 2007, Newton beat out fellow freshman quarterback John Brantley as the back-up for eventual Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow. He played in five games, passing for 40 yards on 5-of-10 and rushing 16 times for 103 yards and three touchdowns.

I was in the South Endzone in 1990 when Dale Carter took over the game and there was nothing they could do to stop him. 45-3. Most memorable game of my life.

Nigel Warrior needs to be on the field. It's his destiny!
