guys, I eat my words.....if we can't run the ball in the SEC, we are in trouble!! MINUS 11 yards!!

now a brighter note......after listening to the call in show and reading here it seems we are upset with the coaching. Let me see, Randy Sanders is gone....but the people he chose to be here are still here. Give Fulmer and Cut some slack!! Cut, has had 3 games to do something with the offense......it aint gonna happen overnight. We should be proud of the turn around this team has made. We got beat by 1 point........could have gone either way!!

FLORIDA WHOOPED OUR BUTT'S AT THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE.....so, now we know where our weakness is, so let's build on it!! There aint gonna be an undefeated team in the SEC......and our season aint over......if you think it is, you were never a true VOL and we don't need you!!

And finally......we played very well on defense. we got tired (Fla TOP: 36 Mins, US 24) we can't expect to play great defense for 4 quarters and be out there over half the time......again, it goes back to our line and we just need to work harder!! We were in a position to win and we never were last year....so quit pouting and whinning like a bunch of babies and stand by our team......

GO VOLS!!

and one more thing......we are still living with the skeletons left in our closet by the GREAT RANDY SANDER'S...... we will be fine from here on out!!

it depends on what you mean by the season "being over." our season is basicallly over if you're talking about an SEC championship game appearance. it's not over if you're talking about beating some more SEC opponents and going to a new year's day bowl.

but there needs to be some huge improvements, particularly in the running game, to get the latter of the two.

And honestly, we should have had less.

If Tennessee would have just stuck with the passing game instead of running on first and second down, we would have won this football game. The run was worthless tonight, but the pass worked all night long. Stick with your strengths, adjust your weaknesses, and build.

The defense played decently, had pressure on Leak all night, though did give a few big plays.

I find it hard to agree there after last night, but maybe I am still in my depression.

I hear ya on the depression. I just sat on my couch sulking for about an hour last night. Then I went to bed while all my buddies went out. I woke up this morning, and everything just seems worse than it was yesterday:vava:

Actually, in the last couple hours, I have found some strange confidence. I still think 7-0 the rest of the way is too hard, but feeling strangely better.

The game was strangly frustrating, in that everything we normally do well we didnt and vice versa.

I didnt like the constant run up the middle either, and was getting that sick feeling associated with Randy Sanders. I felt we should have got a little more inventive with the run, a reverse or toss sweep ect...

But even if you are frustrated with Cutcliff look at what he has done with Ainge. Next year, when we get some experiance and fill up some holes we have we really could be national champs.
