Ward received an Vol offer on Friday.

Impressive offer list: UT, Bama, UGA, GT, Clemson, Purdue, NC St, and Louisville.

Hopefully he has a good relationship with John...I like that he is 6'7", at 255 he obviously needs to put on some weight but that won't be a problem...

“Tennessee offered me last week and I think that is offer 10 for me,” said Xzavier Ward. “One of their coaches came by the school and told my coach that they were offering me a scholarship.”

“I have not been to Tennessee before, so I really do not know a lot about them. I know about the conference (SEC) they play in and that is really about it. I just don’t know a lot about Tennessee yet.”

That might be a good thing....maybe he can get here on a game day and we can blow him away. 6'7'' is huge.

He has some of the best technique I've seen in a long time from a recruit. He shoots his arms like very few OL.

He stated from an interview that Chad Simmons did that the depth chart will play a key role in his decision for a college.....well Mr. Ward come on over we got plenty room for ya.

four-star o-lineman xzavier ward names some favorites

xzavier ward (moultrie, ga./colquitt county) has received a scholarship offer from notre dame and is now holding over 20 offers, espn affiliate web site irishsportsdaily.com reports.

The irish have now entered his top group. "i tried to narrow it down to a top 10 last month," he said. "georgia, florida, auburn, tennessee, louisville, alabama. Notre dame worked its way in there."

however, ward isn't ready to decide at this time, "after the season starts, i'll probably take some visits and do a little research. I'm not really sure yet."

georgia tech, clemson, south carolina and n.c. State are among his other offers.

So I just talked to X, he also gave me the top ten deal, but he listed FL, AL, AUB, TN then long pause.... NC, SC, LOU and couldn't remember the rest.

So my point here is, pay attention to the first four, they were named without hesitation.
