LV, please xplain what happened to the other 800 kids CLK offered last year - do they still hold offers? We mus thave offered almost every football player in the south and a lot up north at this point..

I do have to admit,, our odds are good at signing a full class this coming year. :)

Even with a 3 percent close rate.

"I just received an offer from Tennessee," he said. "It's a great offer. Tennessee is a great school and it was a surprise offer for me.

"I know a lot about Tennessee because one of our alumni, Gerald Williams has told me a lot about it and the program. I know him pretty well. He tells me about the atmosphere and Rocky Top, how everything goes as well as the environment and coaching staff."

"I know a lot about Tennessee," Turene offered. "Gerald Williams went to Boyd Anderson and is a friend of mine. We have talked a good bit about Tennessee and he talks about how great it is up there. Just how good the atmosphere is not just on game days, but everyday. Gerald is very happy up there and really likes everything about Tennessee."

"Gerald says coach Dooley is a great coach with a great system for the program," Turene offered. "Gerald feels like they are going to be very successful soon. He is definitely excited about things."

"To me it's a blessing [that Tennessee offered]," Turene said. "I am glad they have given me the opportunity to play there and I am looking forward to seeing them up close."

"I am going to try and see as many schools that have offered me as I can," Turene offered. "I am going to see Tennessee sometime this summer. I would like to camp up there and visit there."

I saw a video on him at TOS and it was impressive. Playing in the south Florida league where its men v men. Turene stands out strong.

Bama offered Turene today.

Dooley can't evaluate.

Lol...I really want Turene and it looks like we have a solid chance of getting him. You know Turene is a stud when Bama is loaded at LB and is only looking for one more Elite Linebacker and then they go and offer him. It is crazy how Dooley is spotting all these kids before the more "elite" schools are. Keep up the good work, LV.

The question isnt can he evaluate? The question is, can he get them to come to Tennessee?

Dooley said signing day is what mattered the most to him. I look for UT close strong again come signing day. We have more stability now with CDD. Get ur popkone ready Cody.

This is getting crazy the way bama offers so many kids right after we do....unbelievable. I would not think they would offer a ton of people as they are going to have a small class and have a pretty good idea of who they want and will end of with.

It is pretty remarkable that the short time Dooley has been the HC of UT how many kids he's already evaluated and offered. For him to be on the job as short as he has and evaluate and offer "many" kids before Bama and UF is awesome. I'm loving it.

Cody this isnt a knock on you but it is funny now how things have changed in a couple months. When he 1st offered Christian Harris everyone was *****ing and didnt think he could evaluate talent, now that has changed to he can eval but cant recruit it is just funny to me.

Speaking of Christian Harris, I guarantee you that if he didn't completely shut down his recruitment, that he would have atleast double digit offers right now including a few SEC schools. I am not scout, but if you can't see the football instincts Harris has by watching film, then I don't know what to tell you. He is a baller, as well as Alan Posey.

“It felt great to get the Tennessee offer,” Turene admitted. “I think Tennessee is a great football program, I’m very excited about the offer.”

“I will definitely take a visit to Knoxville this summer to check things out,” Turene said. “My plans are to take several unofficial visits; right now I’m not sure what camps I will attend.”

“I’m just so thankful for them wanting to see my talent. Alabama is a great program and I’m very excited to receive an offer from this national powerhouse."- Kid loves Tide...After the success of Rolando many LB will look at bama.
