Gosha committed to FSU for about 24 hours, then backed out, now Bama is the team to beat. Kid's a monster too.

I don't know much about him but this kid has a solid offer list, over half the SEC and ACC want this kid.

Gosha has shown the ability to get after the Quarterback with 13 sacks last year. We love his intangibles on the DL and his best days are clearly a few years out.
Per Scout. Hope he visits. Looks like a great player.

Yeah but for some reason he's the fall back guy for most of the BIG 3 in Fla at DT so he may make the BIG 3 regeret it by signing elsewhere. FSU offering Green and Pompey over the last few weeks gives me the impression that he may land out of state.

I believe that Chuck Smith will get whoever Chuck Smith wants. CCS is gonna be a heck of a recruiter. We are gonna have one of nastiest d-line in a year or 2.

Does anyone have an update on Gosha? He's got a very impressive list of schools to choose from.

I think UT needs at least 3 DTs. Carson, Gosha, and Wright would be a dream for any fan. Once we are able to get the big uglies on both sides, the talent at the skill positions will flourish. The line wins championships and dictates most games especially in the SEC!

But seriously. I know nothing about Carson, since Bama is not recruiting him. Here's my understanding of the other two: Gosha is a very versatile and athletic DL prospect. He might even be able to play as a Jack DE/OLB. Probably a DE but could be beefed up into a DT. Wright projects more as a 4-3 DT or 3-4 DT/DE hybrid, but could even potentially be a 3-4 NT. Wright and Gosha are both high on Bama's board as no doubt they are on UT's and a few other schools. I don't think Bama will be in a position to take both and if Bama landed one of them the other might choose elsewhere anyway. But that could change if Bama misses on others that I expect Bama to land. UT should definitely keep recruiting both hard, IMO.

I cant remember what our early DT list looked like, but I gotta believe right now that Gosha is either 1 or 2 on DT want list along with Gabe Wright. correct?

This is my guess with the board

1. Williams
2. Couch
3. Wright
4. Johnson
5. Gosha

I put those as the top 2 because we need JUCOs badly to step in and contribute next year.
