'11 CA C Isaac Luatua

But I'm not sure I buy the story that UT pulled their offer to Luatua because of lack of size. I seriously doubt Saban would accept an early commitment from him if that were such a serious issue.

- No way they pulled Luatua's offer.

- I am glad we are being picky. We are in solid position with alot of guys this far out. Will be find.

True, but its very risky. I trust the staff knows what they are doing...I think. It sucks were in this mess. Other top tier SEC teams are stacking up like a monopoly. The rich get richer.

The whole proposition is risky. I am not negative on Dooley like many here but am realistic about what he inherited. IMHO, this strategy is the ONLY one that can get UT back to the top. Hopefully the worst case is that if they miss on the guys they seem to be holding out for then they'll go to some quality back ups. But the real worst case is if the back ups don't wait. UT could end up with alot of "project players". Dooley won't survive that IMO.

I still think his odds of success are something below 50%. I like him. I think he's doing some good and intelligent things. He just had a horrible starting point.

When a less than 6ft center has a 6-4 or 6-5 DT staring him down in the face, it's bound to cause some problems. That said, I don't know what his "confirmed" height is, and have read where it's more along the lines of 5-10 or 5-11 than the 6ft plus he claims.

Too bad we didn't sign Isaac... looks like his little brother will end up following him to Bama.
Tyler Luatua early 4* #1 TE in the nation for 2014.
