11-1

Agreed. Trevor Knight has lit a fire under their offense. Chavis has brought discipline to their defense. Idk if anyone can beat them right now.

You can NEVER overlook Georgia. I really think that Ole Miss game was a fluke. Kirby Smart is a good coach- I know everybody on here would've taken him before Butch at one point or another. They will be ready for us.

You can't overlook them. But they are just not a good team right now. And Kirby being a good coach (head coach) has ZERO evidence behind it right now. No one really knows. Show up to play and it's a 14 point win at least all day.

I guess I'm just cautiously optimistic. It's been a long time since we've been in the driver's seat.

Sorry for the late bump. Anyways, I'm still leaning towards 10-2, with those losses being to A&M and Bama. For those that think we may slip up to Georgia, I really am not seeing it, and I'm somewhat surprised by the released line other than the fact that Phil Steele gives Georgia a nearly 5 point home field advantage. I think the boys are up for this one almost as much as Florida. You know when Butch Jones alludes to their dirty hit on Tuttle last year that it's on everybody's minds, even if Butch says that it isn't. Furthermore, this is the best defensive line that Eason will have played to date, and he may have to do it without Chubb taking some pressure off of him. However, this is the SEC and any road game can be lost. As I stated at the beginning though, going 11-1 these past twelves games has been pretty sweet. The only thing that's missing is a major game with a trophy on the line to go with it. Let's take care of business against Georgia. Then, even if we go 10-2, Atlanta and a New Years Six Bowl will be well within our reach.

According to ESPN we have a 58% chance of beating both Georgia and Missouri

According to the most recent analysis, ESPN has a 13.2% chance of being correct on any single prediction.

Those haven't worked for us since Meyer. But you guys seem to be doing well with the brick thing so maybe we can make that work for us.

Lawgator,

I don't understand why the Florida fanbase is so dejected after losing to Tennessee. No one likes losing, but you all beat us 11 years straight. You all had to know it would end some point.

Not a game on our schedule we can't win, but TA&M and Bama are going to take a near perfect game on our part. Fall behind early to these guys, I doubt the outcome will be the same as against FLA. Gotta start fast and keep the pedal down on both sides of the ball.

Texas A&M is good, but I'm not sold on their passing game. Knight's arm is questionable. Our O-Line must protect Dobbs, and I think if we can contain Knight's legs and make him throw, we have a good chance of winning. If we win that, carry that momentum and game plan to Alabama... their offensive line is weak, so if we can put pressure on Hurts and contain him and his RBs on the edge, make him throw, we may be able to pull that one out as well. TAMU is a harder match up for us than Bama IMO. Regardless, let's focus on GA first. If we were to drop this one in Athens, the wheels may fall off the wagon for the next two games.

I think they may be better than Bama.

they have better looking wins on their resume with both UCLA and ARKY. All bama has is ole miss since USC has looked TERRIBLE after getting whipped by them. I wouldnt quite say theyre better or even quite even. Id say they has a better qb and even to slightly better defensive line play though. I just worry about the long trip honestly.

After the comeback we enjoyed last night I am not ready to say we lose a game until it happens. I am not normally a sunshine pumper but it is hard not to be right now.
Tennessee played championship football in the second half. Play like that the whole game against Bama and they will face the same fate as Florida.

This. The second half comeback has made me a believer that we can beat any team we face this year, it just depends on execution.

They simply aren't accustomed to surrendering 38 unanswered points, let alone four touchdowns in the span of 7:32.
