Coming into the season, many on here predicted us to be 11-1. Although I leaned more towards 10-2 with those tough road games coming up, I could definitely see 11-1 as a possibility. Well don't look now, but over the last twelve games we are 11-1. Over that span we have played:

Alabama
Florida
Georgia
Northwestern
Va Tech

The only thing missing from our regular schedule is a tough SEC West opponent like A&M. Here's to us getting to that 11-1 mark and putting ourselves in a position to not only win the SEC but also get into our first ever playoff. Go Vols!

After the comeback we enjoyed last night I am not ready to say we lose a game until it happens. I am not normally a sunshine pumper but it is hard not to be right now.
Tennessee played championship football in the second half. Play like that the whole game against Bama and they will face the same fate as Florida.

I'm with you. I've got to see it to believe it. I don't believe there's any team that can beat us. Why not win them all?

Lol UGA/Mizzou. You've officially lost your damn mind.

UGA is not going to look that bad two games in a row, at home. Missouri has found an offense.

Bookmark it, we'll see at the end of the season!

10-2. Hate to say it, but Arkansas could not run that well on TAM and they probably have a better O Line than we do. Alabama is just good and with our defense like it is, I'm just not that positive.

I think they may be better than Bama.

Agreed. Trevor Knight has lit a fire under their offense. Chavis has brought discipline to their defense. Idk if anyone can beat them right now.

You can NEVER overlook Georgia. I really think that Ole Miss game was a fluke. Kirby Smart is a good coach- I know everybody on here would've taken him before Butch at one point or another. They will be ready for us.

Oh I am. I was thinking 8-4 outside chance at 9-3 last week. Now I think 9-3 outside chance at 10-2. I'm a happy camper :)

I think the momentum will carry us into Athens where we beat UGA. With Chubb injured and Eason still trying to find himself in the offense, the Vols defense will feast. There's still Michel to deal with, but a one dimensional threat and their O line isn't that good.

Carry that momentum into College Station and good things can happen. It took ATM until the 4th quarter to finally put Arkansas away. And they just gave up in the 4th.

I'll make a believer out of you yet.

And Nicholls State? Mizzou might be better than predicted, but it took luck and a late 4th quarter play to win that game.

I think it's more likely UGA isn't as good as the preseason polls thought they would be. And Eason isn't quite the second coming of Peyton Manning they want him to be either.

Careful with that reasoning, GV....

Show me the W and I'll agree with you. Until then, Georgia is fully capable of beating us and I have no other reason to think otherwise. Besides we haven't exactly played above that level of competition either.

At least you get UGA after a bye week. And you better hope LDR and Callaway are back up to full speed. Big Mo affects you guys just as much as us. And LSU may be down, but certainly not out.

UF has a fairly nasty stretch as well.

I'm buying Citrus Bowl tickets today and just hoping I can use them.
