Thanks much. The Junkyard has taken a direction I don't like. They have assigned a bunch of moderators who shoot from the hip, sometimes from an ideological standpoint. I have been a member there for 7.5 years. I never had a post deleted or had been banned for 6.5 years. I have been banned six times in the past few months. The mods remind me of ROTC officers when I was a student. They are nerds drunk with power.
I was once again banned last week. This A-hole proceeded to chastise me via PM.
I'm not a confrontational person. However, he couldn't hold my jock if he used both hands. My IQ is 139. I'm retired now, but I have run projects on four continents and ran a F-500 division. I'm not accustomed to having someone like him lecture me. So I waited until my ban expired and said farewell. If I had attempted an explanation, they would have simply deleted the post.

Yeah, they're going through some changes over there. I've never read any of your posts anywhere as being overly confrontational or objectionable, but anyway glad to hear your departure wasn't a sign of something more serious.
