That defense we shredded in one half will not give that many points again this season over a game.

Our DLine is beginning to impose their will. They're playing like grown men.

Gaulden, TK, and Abernathy are very disruptive.

Colton has been stready for two weeks.
McDowell is stepping up big!

Offense can only stop itself.

Thus far no one has stalled our progress but us.

Is App State better than Florida and Virginia Tech???

Nah...

These Vols are good.

People b!tch and moan and groan and fuss and whine even though we keep winning. But I haven't had to sit through a loss for almost an entire season's worth of games now. And that feels pretty darned good.

When I went to Krystal's and saw a pair of gators heading to the game with a flat tire, I knew it was our day. I'm being dead serious too. My gut told me to go all out because it was a special day. So I was getting some sliders, chili cheese fries and wings getting ready to watch the game after half a day of overtime (and overtime pay :)) and these guys were trying to make it to Neyland with a flat to see the streak ended. I did feel bad for them, though. I'd never wish any fan car trouble on gameday. Especially on a day when the proverbial rooster would come home to the roost! Go VOLS, baby!

The best thing and most accurate thing you said was that so far no one has stalled us but our own mistakes and I completely agree.

Another thing that shows how dangerous we are, is that we are 4-0 with not playing our best ball, 4-0 with slow starts but STRONG FINISHES, 4-0 with a inconsistent offensive line, 4-0 with significant injury to our best players. 4-0 under these circumstances just shows how dangerous we can be when we get healthy and continue to improve and settle in. Biggest reasons we are better is off season conditioning and mental conditioning.

I said it after last week. When we play our offense the way it's supposed to be played, no one can stop us.

We need to start earlier, getting Dobbs in rythm. He is the key to everything working the way it should.

True, but their is another roadblock after that corner. Tennessee better play like they did in the second half all game next week to best Georgia. They are better than the Gators, and they have something to prove after the Ole Miss loss. We're going to be sweating bullets next week. But....today showed me the heart of this team. I want too see them play like that when we aren't behind.

Florida will beat Georgia. Their offensive line got dominated by Nichols state. We will beat Georgia.

Florida is much better than UGA.

It'll still be a good game next week.

We beat Ga but I could see us losing to both Al and Txam.

That means we need Lsu to upset fl or ark to beat them.

I think ark gets them

I agree I think Florida is better than UGA. However this game does scare me a little by the fact it's in Athens and that they got destroyed by Ole Miss. Their defense isn't as good as UF, if we can run the ball and hit some down field passes and get into rhythm we should be fine. I like our defense we are getting better every week. But must stop the run and keep an eye on deep ball Eason likes to throw that.

Having said that due to getting this monkey off our back and the confidence we will gain, along with the maturity and experience I expect us to win by at least 10. I'm thinking similar score to today something like 35-21ish

UF is better the UGA? Based in what? We are the first real game UF has played, and we exposef them, big time! The Dawgs have played better competition. We overcame a curse today. But you overlook Georgia at your own peril!

Have you watched Georgia? They got lucky, and a little help with North Carolina. Missouri shut them down pretty much. If Missouri hadn't went conservative in the 4th quarter they would've beat them. I was at the Nichols state game, they dominated georgias offensive line. The best team uga played was ole miss, and they blew their doors off. Chubb isn't the same, their defense isn't good, Eason is gonna be good, but he has accuracy issues. I'm not saying it's a given we win, anything can happen, but I really like our chances.

Ga was beat by a team that got hammered by fla st and also that same team took a whopping by Bama. I think ga got exposed today for what they are. Same team just a different coach.

Should we take them lightly? No, but right now, they were a better team under richt.

Have you watched Tennessee? We won on a miracle against Appy. VT fumbled like crazy all on their own. We struggled against Ohio. The 2nd half today was the 1st great football we have played. Our ceiling is a lot higher than many on here have said. We showed that today. But we have yet to dominate a good team in the SEC. Nothing between the hedges is a given.

I think anyone out of LSU, Arkansas, or Missouri could beat UF...possibly UGA, but the other 3 seem a bit higher chance.

Except that happened the week before and he did.

It's not just stop the run, it's also put the freshman QB in a "need to keep scoring most/multiple drives" hole that he needs to beat you doing.
