NO you are missing the point for USC. Scroggins is a good QB but not elite. A elite QB is Matt Barkley, Mark Sanchez, Carson Palmer, and Matt Leinart. ALL THESE QBS were seriously number 1 prospects at their position and some were number 1 OVERALL.

Seriously, Scroggins can be great but so would Mustain who was ELITE as they come, Aaron Corp and John David Booty and they were all backups and some could not actually get out of the backup role. I think Scroggins will be a career backup with a #1 QB Prospect committing to USC in 2011 or 2012 and him starting as a RS Frosh or True Frosh.

Obviously the kid thinks differently. He believes he can start at SC and he's grown up a life-long fan. Put this in perspective, dude: what if a kid from Farragut grew up a UT fan and UT was a dynasty program w/ a loaded roster and strong, recent QB success. Do you think this hypothetical Farragut kid who was considered one of the top QB prospects in the country would not want to go to UT??? Now, let's say UT hadn't offered but several other schools had, including an up-and-coming school from across the country. This hypothetical kid is excited and before he knows it every fan with a computer and a lot of time on their hands considers him all but committed to their school b/c he's shown a lot of interest and went to their camp. Now, the kid's dream school, UT--upon seeing the kid's performance at their very own summer camp--makes him an offer. Furthermore, they've made it known they'll only offer ONE QB for the entire year. Lastly, the QB they have is so good it's all but known he'll be gone after 3 seasons to the NFL like all four drafted QBs before him. This hypothetical, top-rated QB from Farragut could potentially start as a redshirt sophomore for his dream school in his very own backyard with his father coming to every home game to cheer for his own son leading the team he's always followed. What's so bad about this???

Give it a rest, guys. JS is SC bound and UT, SC and JS are better for it. Bray is better for us and JS is fulfilling a dream. It's a happy story for all w/ hopefully a happy ending for all. Put this to rest. RIP

Stoops has been rumored to be interested in taking the ND job. He he leaves OU, there would be one heck of a shake up. Even though Bell grew up a OU fan, I would not be surprised one bit if he looks around. With him being big friends with Bryce, i would LOVE to get in it. IDK, i need something to talk about today...

If Stoops leaves, U think they bring back their former OC, Kevin Sumlin? If they did that, I think the QBs would continue to flock to OU.

Yes. Bells upside is out the roof. He is similar to Bray, one could say. He is more mobile they Bray.

Yeah I knew he was a more mobile type QB. I kind of quit following him after he chose the sooners. What is your impression of Rees?

I like Rees. If we get him i will be happy. He has a very quick release and looks to be very accurate. It is also very well known that the coaching staff loves him. He is underrated.

Watching Ree's videos, it appears he isnt playing against the best competition and is pretty skinny. He prolly needs a RS year, but if he came here he prolly wouldnt get it.
