Clark is a 3star WR and a teammate of Matt Elam and Gerald Christian at Dwyer. He was committed to WVU but then switched his commitment to UF when Holliday left...

FlVol77 believes Clark could very well end up at UT now that Meyer is gone, and he says we would take Clark with or without Elam...

Family lives in Niceville, FL. Dwyer thumped them in the State Title game this year. Father in law said Clark was a special talent.

His description/size sounds like Nuke.

This is a kid we want. To the post above, yeah he is similar to Nuke, and i do believe he is being recruited to fill his role. I have been high on this kid for a while. Dude will be a good one. Look at his highlight tape, he makes fla kids look slow.

Clark and Elam were both planning to enroll at Florida in January.

Instead, Clark said the two players will likely stay at Dwyer for another semester to allow more time to make a decision.

The 5-foot-10, 175-pound Clark, who maintained he’s still committed to Florida, said he plans to visit UT next month.

Clark said he heard this weekend from UT coach Lane Kiffin.

“They have a great staff,” Clark said of the Vols. “(Kiffin) talked to me about their need at wide receiver.”

Clark could fill UT’s need for a playmaker at receiver, according to Dwyer coach Jack Daniels.

“Any time Robert touches the ball he’s got a chance to score,” Daniels said.

Meyer status has two Gator commitments looking again at UT GoVolsXtra

don't disagree with you, but would you agree Nuke was not as fast/quick as advertised?

I believe both Clark and Elam will end up together but not sure where. IMO having graduated its going to be hard for these kids to sit around until summer so I'm saying WVU by default of Meyer LOA and too much time until summer practice. If the have everything in order for UT ATP then they will become Vols. I just don't see any kid that graduated sitting around that long.

he graduated early and went fishing with his uncle for like a month IIRC then came back and started doing all his stuff

Do you really think they'd go to WVU without Doc there though?

I know in Matt case he really enjoyed the place and the style of defense they play would still be in place and he'll be a starter from day one.

Josh Ward says it's "likely" Tennessee will land Elam or Clark. His HS coach who is a UF alum believes Tennessee is Clark's "first choice" even though he hasn't visited Tennessee.

I blame myself for this but according to scout he's the #59 corner... 3*. Is he a diamond in the rough?

He's got offers from UF, Auburn, Vandy, Kentucky, West Virginia, and us. I'd say he's more than a diamond in the rough.

WVU? How in the sanity of this world could a high recruit from Fla choose WVU over Fla, FSU, or Tenn??

It seemed that I heard someone on the Animal today say that his grades may be questionable. That would be the reason for WVU.
