Jose Jose claims 16 written offers now. Recently from Tennessee, Michigan, Michigan State, Alabama. He has also added offers from Florida State, Florida, and Miami (FL). Georgia has made an offer too, according to Jose.
"I'm up to 16 offers now," Jose said. "Miami is definitely in my top four. I have Alabama, Tennessee, Florida and Miami. I'm also looking at South Florida pretty hard, too."
Jose plans to take visits to Tennessee, Alabama, Florida and South Florida.

He says two schools are also recruiting him for defense: Tennessee and USF.

"But center is the basic position everyone's recruiting me for," he says.

he seems kind of big and slow... is this the type of player that would fit into CMK's pass rushing scheme?

sorry bburger...thought we were recruiting him to play defense and i thought our defense was based on speed. an even if he is an OL and gonna play for us, wouldn't that mean he would need to be lean and quick? just wondering...

Quick laterally, and quickness to the second level is important. 40 time has little to do with that IMO.

Theres a difference in quick and fast. Really for an OL, and even DL, 40s are about worthless. What would be better would be a ten yard split of that 40, or a shuttle drill or something that would just show the quickness/explosiveness all that. Or even just position drills, which it seems like he's kinda dominated.

But don't worry about it, that's just kinda one of my pet peeves. You should post some more though

Some are saying we lead. We are recruiting him to play defense, according to Jose. He'll have to shed quite a few pounds to play defense.

so we are in his top three and miami is his 4th....got it.

so he would fit best in a zone blocking system....wait, that's us!

I'm pretty sure a Florida fan on the MB said the Vols are the leader for this kid. Don't know how reliable it is, just sayin...

“I wouldn’t say anything about a leader but my favorite right now is Tennessee,” Jose said. “My top three schools are Tennessee, Florida, and of course Miami.”
sounds good.

He doesn't sound very bright to me.
