KY running back Rodriguez really is a beast. But can Levis throw it around the yard is the question, bc that’s what we will scheme up
Rodriguez will get his yards against us but our potent offense will leave the rotten kitties in the dust and no, Levis is not the next coming of Jared Lorenzen

I have several Kentucky friends and they absolutely hate Levis. I watched their bowl game with one friend and, on a 3rd and short he has an easy first down by just giving Rodriguez the ball inside. But instead, he pulls it out and tries to go around the end. Rodriguez had five yards of space on a 3rd and 1 due to great inside blocking but the idiot QB goes lateral to line with the ball until the end and LB kill him. My friend just signed and said that's how the guy always responds - he has to be the star. Very much like JG deciding to keep the ball and sneak against Bama....some guys just don't know how to win.

Kentucky and Pitt. We'll beat both of them.
CanTurkey has to replace most of it's O-Line and Dline. With the style of ball they play that's really bad news. Ky is a 6 to 7 win team. Pitt has lost the overwhelming majority of it's offensive production the biggest being a first round QB. They will take a big step back. No reason to believe win don't handle them both barring injuries of course. If we stay healthy we will get 10 wins for the first time since 2007.

Pitt lost like 85% of their offense. Basically their soul.

Kentucky lost more than I thought! Not just the OC and Wandale, but their second leading receiver, three offensive linemen and most importantly three starting DB's...we'll torch them all night again.

Don't really understand the Pitt hype this year. I think Narduzzi is a good coach and their Defense might be stout, but they have to replace Pickett and the WR that transferred. That seems like a lot to replace. Who knows? I'm always amazed when the media starts hyping up UK. A team that's never won the SEC East.....

They picked up USC's five star transfer QB. And they play in a really weak ACC.

Their D-line is one of the best in the country and their overall D is solid but I think most of it is their schedule.

Cincy, but who cares. Ky lost a lot in the trenches. A lot of so called NFL analysts have Levis as a late 1st or early 2nd round pick.
Levis did not show up in the games I watched last season. His decision making was not impressive to me.

I also think we are not talking enough about the loss of Mark Whipple to Nebraska. Pitt is going to really be so much less dangerous on offense with the "balanced" approach of the new offensive staff. That is going to give our team a nice advantage in this season's matchup.

Mark Whipple might even make Scott Frost survive in Nebraska if he can find a superior QB and a couple of capable receiving targets..

Does anybody know his status at this point? I know he had some off the field trouble recently.

Word on Wildcats Illustrated is/was that he is being suspended for several games. I doubt Stoops is dumb enough to hold him out of their game with us or other major opponent games. However, the time I did read some comments, it seems beyond the DUI, no one really knows what happened, but it might smell bad enough for the UK administration to issue sterner punishment. The hope is that doesn't happen. Yet the hinting at this implies the conduct was something of note. Maybe even battery of a girlfriend. Again, nobody outside the coaches and admin seems to know anything, there was mention of concern he might transfer. Not that it offers any real answers, but here's an article for anyone interested: Update on Chris Rodriguez

Thanks Woodsman. If it is proven that he hit a female he needs to be gone.
